Look Out Mountain
After Rosecrans's debacle at Chickamauga, in September 1863,
Confederate General Braxton Bragg's army occupied the
mountains that ring the vital railroad center of Chattanooga.
This high ground was stormed by forces Gen. Hooker on November 24th.
