"The Swamp Angel",
an 8-inch, 200-pounder Parrott Rifled siege gun,
used by the federals to fire incendiary shells into Charleston.
This gun continued firing for two days, (Aug 21-2), until,
on the thirty-sixth round, the gun exploded.
